Pamela, Oct 17Richard is an absolutely awesome host and I am not just saying that because of his gorgeous apple juice from his own trees! We fell in love with his place and would have stayed there much longer if we had the time. He has worked so hard to make it just right. So relaxing, so peaceful! The Cider House cottage we stayed in is bright and comfortable, well equipped kitchen, comfortable couches with a lot of thoughtful touches including DVDs. Good beds! He also has the sweetest dog - Tory. The view of the Tor is gorgeous and it's right there! We had a stunning walk one afternoon up to it through the fields and lanes. The deep, yet energizing peace of the place enters your body fields and we felt so refreshed after staying there. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay there again!Aubrey, Sept 17My parents and my husband and I stayed in Richard's Cider House Farm recently and had an absolutely unforgettable experience. When we first arrived, we were so pleased that it was even more stunning than the pictures showed. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was great, and the location couldn't be beat. We enjoyed walks in the countryside, close proximity to a pub, a short drive into town for restaurants and sites, visiting with Richard and meeting the darling donkey and pony there,(Arthur and Naughty LaddieAimee, Aug 17We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. So easy to book the week which gives you a hint of how relaxing the stay will be. We loved every moment. Fantastic location, 10 mins from Glastonbury. Great day trip. Beautiful view of the TOR from the bedroom. Richard is an amazing host. The house is so cozy and comfortable. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Karen, April 2016We recently spent 5 nights at the Cider House, Old Farm and had the most brilliant time. The accommodation and location were beyond our expectations and our host Richard was very welcoming. As well as being extremely interesting to talk to about the area of Glastonbury and the history of his fabulous property, he is really very kind and generous. Our daughter loved getting involved in feeding the donkey and pony, and learning about bees. The Cider house itself is a charming, comfortable cottage and is equipped with everything you could need. Diane, June 2016We had a wonderful long weekend break in a tranquil and peaceful setting. Comfortable barn with all home comforts. Richard the owner was welcoming and took time to explain all about the area and site. The animals were an added bonus. Richard spent Sunday morning explaining all about the bees and our 7 Year old got to help. Truly magical! Thank you.Lauria, July 2016Our family of five had a very enjoyable stay at the Old Farm Cider House. The house has everything we needed for our week-long stay (good plumbing, comfortable beds, full kitchen etc) The location was fabulous for a family vacation. Many great walks can be taken in the nearby countryside, including up to the top of Glastonbury Tor. We enjoyed going out for a day trip and then coming back to the perfect peace and quiet of the Old Farm. Richard was very welcoming and gave us good advice about what to see and do locally. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to a friend.Jackie, Aug 16We enjoyed a brilliant holiday at the Cider house. The setting is perfect and the cottage, that is seeped in history is cosy and welcoming. Richard and Tori (dog) are charming hosts. What a special place steeped in history, the cider press in the cottage was amazing. Wonderful views for miles around, and peace. The cottage was so comfortable and we slept like babies. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk to glastonbury tor with the maps provided. We loved being able to spend time with Tori the dog, Arthur the donkey and Laddie the Pony. Richard went out of his way to make us welcome.
